2a82 and 2a87

Every since my stage 2 turbo install I have had this issue with the vanos solonids. We have since replaced both solinods, cam ledges, and actual vanos adjuster on camshafts.
Do you guys have any ideas on what else we can look into. If you clear the codes at idle its fine, but as soon as the gas is hit the codes show and limp mode comes in. Any thoughts on other places to start looking?
PS My old turbos where blown and metal shavings were on the old solonids.

Not sure if this applies, but has this been happening ever since the replacing? Could you have just accidentally switched around the exhaust and intake solenoid cables?

We swapped back and forth and nothing still the same issue. My fuel pump also went out after the install too. Yep this happened right after the car was fired up from the install.

Im not much on understanding timing but the mechanic told me that its 130 advance timing at idle but I don't know what that means really.

Not sure if this will help you at all. I recently installed a JB4 and BMS DCI. The waste gate rattle suddenly got really loud so I tried the jb4 waste gate rattle fix and turned the setting to 1.5 which got it to go away completely but of course the turbo responsive would be not as quick, and under WOT both vanos codes would be thrown. Then I tried the waste gate rattle back to 4 (which was stock on the jb4 I think) and the codes never came back but the rattle was loud as hell. Could it be your waste gate setting? Very little experience but that's what helped me.

Ok now I'm told that it's the turbos. Can any of the stage 2 creators let me know this ain't the culprit. They got no miles on them at all. I don't know how it could be.

Lol. Your shop worries me.

If you found metal shavings in your oil after your turbo died, I would have thrown the engine away, or at least every accessory on it.

Do you have any kind of a tune on the car?

It is very unlikely for the turbos to cause the car to throw vanos codes at light/medium load.

It's just tough knowing that ledges and complete Amos has been changed which on every car fixes this issue. Now we are stuck and have no clue where to go next.

Ouch, sounds really frustrating. Hope you find the root cause soon.
