I bought first and have yet to research....
Does one really need any information (other than pricing) that once cannot obtain from a test drive to decide to buy or not buy a car?

With a standard transmission when you come up to an incline and take your foot off the brake, the brake stays applied and the car doesn't roll backwards. Absolutely love it!

That is in the owners manual. Also applies to the DCT. But, it only holds still for a couple of seconds before it releases the brakes.

Well, yes. Long term reliability for instance; it's nice to know whether a car drives as good as it does out of the showroom as it will in a couple years when you've put some miles on it.

That nobody over 23 has driven the car since 1994 and it's still in good shape is astounding to me. They don't do anything but standard maintenance (oil, tires, brakes, fluids, etc.) and they replaced the clutch once.

Funny those are my settings too. Button three is Howard Stern. Button 4 is the NHL Channel. Button 5 is my ipod and 6 is the local sports radio.

Hi I'm new. Has anyone experienced the situation whereby when trying to activate voice control (2007 335I) the instruction comes out in German.
I called the dealer service dept who said they'd never heard of this and next time I'm in they will change a microchip for $150. The car was purchased brand new in Canada and all other functions are in English. The car is still under warranty but the mechanic said this issue isn't covered. |

Welcome aboard. If its under warranty that should be covered. Talk to someone other than the mechanic. |

I did not know how unpleasant it would be to drive a 335i with sport suspension in NYC.

wagon cargo cover
For those with the E91 wagon:
press and hold the "trunk" button on the remote to pop open the hatch. Press it a second time and it opens the cargo cover. You can do the same deal with the handle for the hatch - pull once to pop open the hatch - pull a second time to open the cargo cover. |

Does anyone know if you can "sync" the climate controls for both the drivers side and the passenger side? It would be sooo nice to just turn one knob to adjust the climate controls. 06 330i no navi.

No, no "sync" in '06. You have "REST" instead.

i've recently learned w/ my iDrive - if i hover my finger over my presets it'll display the channel information w/o having to select the channel... oh and i can also preset nav destinations on any of the 6 buttons....
