Very happy with the results, i know there is a bit more we can squeeze, but i will need race fuel and some other "mods" that we have been exploring

He gets a zillion a day. Try calling their phone line. I always get someone when I call.

His tune/meth kit for the M3 is the best bang-for-your buck out there. TMR got over 400RWHP with just the Procede, meth kit and catlezz x-pipe.

For sure tightening the wastegate actuator a quarter of an inch should give you maybe around 1psi more north of 4500 rpm where boost taper heavily, maybe that's what is needed to break the 400 mark.

I know we always focus on peak number, comparing dyno to dyno, day to day, we shouldn't actually but rather compare apple to apple (same car on same dyno stock vs tuned), did you had time for a map0 pull ? The actual delta would be quite interesting to see compared to others.

I own both. I prefer trying myself rather than using others opinions.

But right now the problem is not the tune, its the turbo falling on its face above 4500 rpm...

Whats the differences you felt between the two tunes though? I'm trying to make as much power i can w/o meth. Once i put on my catless dp and exhaust with my current mods, would you be able to help me? I can send you logs etc. I have a procede for now.

I for sure will be glad to help, Procede or JB4. I hate tuner wars on these forums so I won't comment much other than saying both will give you the exact same power once dialled in correctly. Its pretty much the same thing with Cobb (not available for the n55 yet), you can always custom tune for your specific car and condition / octane and get the max out of it, given you can control boost, ignition advance and fuel.

So if goal is max power no mater what, get the tune of your choice and custom tune it on a dyno AND on the road. Without meth you might get disappointed a bit compared to Pepe_pr's dyno numbers.

Ultimately if you really like tuning and tweaking, get all configurable tunes available and play with them, I think that's the best way to learn and get what you want. In the end, you can always sell the other tune...

A bit disagree with the above mentioned a bit. The main issue with the proceede is that they dont let you tune perfectly the car since they have not released the tuner version for the n55. You can only tune with the small tweeks the software lets you.

All other comments were accurate.

I will dyno again soon with other mods soon, maybe a month to see what i can squeeze

Anway i will upload a dyno with only 14 psi for reference

I had the jb4 before and i sold it while my car was at a shop getting fixed. I had meth and everything. Never had a chance to really use it though. I'm going to be buying the jb4 as well pretty soon again because Terry hooks it up for me. Once i have my mods installed ill pm you with logs etc, and create a thread.. I'm going to try and squeeze as much power from just bolt ons first and then play with meth for comparison.

Well, I am bit surprised with your answer. The tuner software is 100% available and I don't see a single parameter it cannot change.

I specifically did the following with the Procede user software:
  • Change boost target per RPM increment
  • Change boost response curve (PID proportionnal and Integral gain) tweaks
  • Change ignition map
  • ADD ignition advance over stock timing
  • Change boost while ON and OFF methanol
  • Change ignition advance while ON and OFF methanol (ignition correction)
  • Change fuel target AFR
  • Change methanol DC% maping vs boost and rpm

I never thought "Damn I can change that parameter"... Never.

looks great!! Is it normal for an N55 to have a tiny spike in peak TQ but is pretty level before and after the bump?

But didn't Terry's results prove an IC doesn't do so much when you already have meth?
