I had it done 1.5 years ago with Halifax bank, albeit I love my little one more than my car, and hence her photo is on the card.

I love how Barclays do this.

However i think you should have used the photo from your sig as it would have looked better!

this was about the 6th pic i tried and they accepted! i originally wanted the M Sport logo or a JL logo but you are not allowed anything branded, i have some pro pics of the car and they didnt allow them as it looks like they thought it was a copyright thing! so this pic i took from my iphone worked! lol

was going too but it looked like VISA was my number plate and it covered quite a bit of the car

Nice idea. But you not worried if someone "finds" your wallet, they will now know what car in the car park is yours?

Even worse, they will know your out, and might track it down to the registered address and, well, hope you have moved your OBD and have cctv.

well firstly i hope to not lose my wallet, i dont tend to keep my keys in the wallet, what makes you think if i lost the wallet and the person who found it would know where i parked? what if i took the train?

lifes to short to be so worried about things like this! thats what money protection is for on banks and thats what car insurance is for on cars!

whether i have a picture of my car on my card or not...has it stopped people stealing BMW's??

Not really saying you would loose your wallet just where you parked your car. Or that your keys would be in the wallet. But was saying some people would be able to trace where your car is registered from the number plate. Obviously not everyone.

But if they could, and you lost it on a sat night, for example, they could just go to your house while you were still out. Or they would then know where your car will be parked at some point.

Its a nice idea though, just think I personally would have blanked the number plate first.
