Powerstop Brakes (Ebay Brakes)

I ordered a set of powerstop rotors and ceramic pads from brakemotiv on ebay. I wanted to write up real quick and say I am actually very impressed with these so far. I know people say that the longevity and quality is inferior but this is the 2nd car I've put these on and they have lasted long and worked great. Im still breaking the new ones in on the bmw but they seem great so far. All in all, I got the pads rotors and sensors plus installation by Win Motorsportz in Tampa for under 500 dollars. Not a bad deal. Feel free to ask any questions or if anyone is interested Win Motorsportz can order you a set and install them for you here in Tampa.

R1 Concepts makes some nice affordable stuff. I almost bought a set myself.

hi, im about to order them (all four rotors and pads), and i was wondering, if they are acctually better than the stock (if yes, how much better), and if they are loud and really sensitive.
thanks

Thinking about getting these, how have they done for you?

Very interesting to see a thread about Powerstop show up, we actually work with them and we are starting to sell them to our customers as alternative pad and rotor. They work really well and we have tested them on our E39 M5 and E36 M3 with no issues

After much searching, I have yet to find a negative review on their product. I pulled the trigger and ordered the set for $283.40 off ebay for front and rear rotors, ceramic pads and front and rear sensors. For the price i think it is worth the gamble.

I had a set of drilled/slotted with ceramic pads from brakemotiv on my E36 vert. Great product and price. Couldn't be happier.

I did the rears this morning and will do the fronts in the morning. The quality looks great! The set came to me supper fast! 2 days! It looks like they sent me 2 sets of sensors, One set was in with the front pads and a second set was in the box with the rear drums. I'm taking some pictures and will post this weekend when I get the free time.

So far the rears seem to bit and brake just fine...much better than my worn out OEM ones! The real test will be after I get the fronts done.

I will say to all those out there that trust your brake sensors to tell you it is time to change your pads..DON'T!!!!! My sensor never went off because it is attached to the inside pad which was fine. My outside pad was gone! I mean nothing left and that is what ate my rotor!

very true! I have high hopes from the reviews I have seen on other forums like LS1tech and vett forums. I drive 100 miles a day, so I'll get some good road time with them quickly.

Got the fronts on this morning. Let me say I have done dozens of brake jobs in my life, but the front brakes are a pain in the ass to get the pads clipped in! I ended up braking the new sensor and using the old sensor since it was still good i did the brake in procedure and they seem to be bighting very well. The characteristic is less grappy than the OEM pads, but brake harder the more you depress the peddle. i'll give it a couple of weeks of driving and report back. Bellow are a couple of cell phone pics with the rotors installed. I have better picks at home on the camera which I will post this weekend. I just didn't have time before work. Sorry that my wheels are very dirty!
