I'm not sure that can be coded on the e90. I was looking through the coding thread, and they were able to turn off the amber side markers, unless you hit your turn signal. That way you can turn on your parking lights and have only the Halos on.
If you want your Halos to be DRLs, you will need to wire tap them straight to the cigarette lighter 12v wire. That way when the ignition is on, the halos will light up. If you want the Halos to fade in and fade out when the car is unlocked/locked, wire tap to one of the foot well lights. That's how I did it on my X5, shouldn't be any different. Quote:

* Intercooler * Quaife LSD * Upgrade to GIAC Stage 2 * VERY tempted by Dinan Intake at this point. * Probably some wheels from ccwheel.com and new tires.

Yeah I read it was part of the alarm coding section. Our cars are equipped with the chirp, it's just not activated.

Chirp, as in when the car locks? Mine does that, but only on subsequent presses of the lock button to tell me: "Its locked you moron, quit pressing the damn button."

Just wanted to update this thread, VS will be doing a full coding session on my car today and they will get everything 100 percent squared away for an upcoming coding session for all that is interested.
Here is the list of what they will work on today: - Euro amber/corner delete - M3 digital Speedometer - Roll Windows Up & Down with remote key fob and comfort access (if applicable) - Fold Mirrors In & Out with remote key fob and comfort access (if applicable & if you have power folding mirrors) - Unlock doors when car is turned off... No more double pull on handle needed! - Remove I-Drive "Accept" screen when you turn on car (only on older i-drive units) - Alarm chrip when the door is locked it will make a noise confirming that the door is locked Let me know if you want me to add anything |
