Will getting water on the driver side door mess with the electronics?

It was a torrential downpour and I had to open the door for a brief second. When I checked back again, the door was soaked, all the power mirror/window switches. Will this cause problems?

Absolutely, you might have to replace the door now unfortunately.

I've had my door pretty wet before and it didn't cause any long term damage. Dry it off as well as you can and try not to use any of the switchgear until it fully dries out.

just buy a new car. it comes with a new door for free.

Same happened to me man, i dried it off and it has been fine, that happened months ago.

u might have to replace the master window switch. happened to me. windows would go up n down on their own. lol.
