Need Urgent Help Please!
Hey guys, so basically here's the story.
I'm driving to my friends house on a canyon when a semi is coming in the opposite direction forcing me to go to the right side of the road. Not seeing 2 nasty dips, I hit the first one and my car gets semi airborne, then I come in and hit the second one again causing me to get semi airborne. The noise that the hits made was horrific and I immediately pulled over. At first there was no cosmetic/visisible damage but as a started to drive I noticed the whole cabin was shaking and it seemed as if every time my tire made a full rotation it would hit a bump and the faster I went the faster the bumping noises came. Then bam, TPMS goes off and says I have a flat. I get home and it seems to be my back right tire but i'm not 100% sure till I take it to the shop. My conclusion so far is that there are 2 scenarios: Best scenario is that I just have a flat and possibly bent the rim which would result in new tires (which I planned on getting anyways), and maybe 1 or 2 new rims. My question is, what is the worst case scenario that could happen? Damaged suspension? Bent chassis frame? Something even worse?! Until I take it to the shop either tomorrow or next week I won't know the full extend of the damage, but I wanna see if anybody else has had this happen. |

My guess is a wheel weight may have been dislodged... get the wheel balanced asap. If not, get an alignment at a BMW certified shop (or a dealer). If a suspension component really is bent or broken, this is when they will find it. Good luck |

Definitely check the tire/wheel first.
You could have bent a suspension component very easily as the suspension on these cars is somewhat fragile and very finicky with regard to proper alignment. |
