Hi Soikiu, noted that you got PE exhaust installed with your LCI 323i.
As a newbie for car modification, could you share your opinion with me? I'm thinking should I go for the exhaust mod.
BTW, I got a quote from local parts shop, around $8.2K include mid pipe, 2 months ordering time.

To be honest, I can't give you a clean assessment. I changed the muffler the same time I changed the intake and upgraded to Okada Plasma direct...
There is a difference obviously, but I couldn't tell you exactly how much difference the PE makes.
It sounds the business tho...

Slight off-topic but I will be moving to HK soon and I'm planning to get an E90 LCI 323i or 325i. Do they have the N52 or N53 engine? Here in the UK, the LCI 325i has the N53 3.0L engine.

Whatever it is, I will want to install the PE on the car so the car I buy must be compatible...

In Hong Kong, our Euro. spec LCI 323i and 325i are having the N52 2.5L engine.
You can have a compatible PE installed. Cheers

Just for reference, I just order a set of catback (mid+muffler) from Jetex, the dealer in Singapore, total included shipment to HK around 7K.

Jetex is an UK brand, factory in Sweden.

You can order the PE from ValiXnt or DeutXchland.
I bought mine from ValiXnt with HKD6,000. A long wait, 3 months! You can pay few hundreds more order from DeutXchland for quicker delivery.
Call them for price comparison.
