Just bought some genuine touch up paint and lacquer.

amount of stone chips i've got i'd need a huge tin.

no other car i've owned has had more than 3 or 4 chips in my time with them, my E92 must have 40+

Try a Citreon C5 my one was covered in them, the paint quality was shite

Using the end of a cocktail stick is good, let it dry hard and then the following week flat it smooth with some very fine 3000 grit wet and dry paper used with soapy water, before polishing back to original glory

No, aslong as the paint it totally dry and cured.

3000 grade paper is only slightly rougher than your average bogroll!
