what type of gapping tool do you guys use?
I just got some NGK LRR6AIX-11 6619 Iridium spark plugs. I noticed that these were not gaped properly. I have both a coin style gaper and a wire one. Now the problem I have been hearing is that the coin style can damage the tips but the wire style does not have my size. The spark plug is suppose to be .043" and the wire only has .040 and .045 . Please let me know my suggestions and which tool you used.

Set new plugs at .043 and it still has some rough idling. I was measuring the old ones and they are currently gaped between 4.6 -4.8 but no rough idling. Is it possible my car is now use to the larger gaping or maybe need a break in period? I mean the old ones has no rough idling at all only these new ngk ix.
