FS: 2005 S2000 - 14k miles, heavily modded, CA
I looked at the stickies and didn't see any restrictions on sales of non-BMWs so here goes... I'm putting my S2000 up for sale. I am the second owner of the car. The first owner did all the mods to the car. The reason for selling is that I rarely drive the car. I used to drive it maybe a couple times a week but lately, it's been at most a few times a month. Therefore, the car basically sits in the garage and I don't need a garage queen. The car had 12,3xx miles when I bought it in June '08 and since then, I've put less than 2,000 miles on it so it currently has 14,061 miles. That just goes to show you how little I drive it. 2005 Honda S2000 (AP2) Mileage: 14,061 Exterior Modifications: Full Authentic JDM Ings +1 Hybrid Aero Kit (w/ Custom Paint Scheme on Rear Bumper) Authentic ASM FRP Rear Over-fenders Aerotech Clear Bra Lamin-X Optic Blue Headlight Film Authentic C-West Eyelids Custom One-Off Carbon Fiber Canards Custom One-Off Carbon Fiber Splitter Authentic Honda JDM Side Markers Seibon MG Style Carbon Fiber Hood Seibon Carbon Fiber Front Fenders (w/ Custom Paint Scheme) Tein Hood Dampers Rick's 3/4 Windscreen Asuka Design Carbon Fiber Trunk Authentic JDM Voltex Type-3 Carbon Fiber Wing Authentic JDM Craftsquare JGTC Carbon Fiber Mirrors Interior Modifications: Recaro Pole Positions (Black Velour) Authentic JDM Mugen Seat Brackets Crow 5-Point Harnesses Nardi Deep Corn 330 Sport Steering Wheel Authentic JDM Works Bell Splash Aluminum Short Hub Authentic JDM Works Bell Rapfix II Quick Release (Black) Authentic JDM Top Secret Shift Knob Cusco 6-Point Chromoly Rollcage Custom Titanium Pedals Wheels/Tires/Brakes/ Suspension/Transmission: Volk Racing Forged Monoblock RE30 in Custom Magnesium Blue Finish (17x9 +35 All Around) Yokohama Advan A032R R-Compound Tires 235/40/17 (Front) Yokohama Advan A048 R-Compound Tires 265/40/17 (Rear) Rays Engineering Duraluminum Extended Lug Nuts (Anodized Black) Endless 6 Piston Racing Big Brake Kit Endless CC-X Race Brake Pads Endless RF-600 Racing Brake Fluid KW V3 INOX Coilovers (12K Front, 15K Rear) Cusco 3 Piece Subframe Bar Cusco Rear Strut Bar Cusco Lower Arm Bars Spoon Lower Tie Bar Suspension Techniques Sway Bars Clutch Specialties Custom 4 Puck Clutch w/ Heavy Duty Pressure Plate Custom Lightened Flywheel (8 lbs.) I'm asking $30,000. The KBB value for a 2005 S2000 is about $20,000. If you add up the cost of mods alone, it's easily over $30,000 and that's without labor. The car is seriously a blast to drive and I would definitely keep if I was actually able to drive it. It's just the wrong car for me at the wrong time. No intentions to part out the car at the moment. If anyone has any questions or is interested, just leave a comment and I'll get back to you. Sincerely, Stanley |

The only problem with this car is you can't really drive it on the streets, it would never get smogged. Therefore, would only be a show car really.

That is definitely untrue. Please do not post false information. If anyone is concerned with passing smog, they can PM me.

I just sold my AP1...love these cars...but in this economy, it's tough to sell a car like this...gotta find the right buyer, and usually mods do not increase value when selling a car...ur better off parting it out

It's not difficult of a job but for those who would rather save themselves the trouble, there's always other options. Quote:
Nope. It's a road up Santa Anita in Arcadia that leads up to a hiking ground. It is a blast to drive. Since I haven't driven the car for 2 weeks, I just took the car out for a 10 mile cruise with the top down. Perfect.

I used to have an AP2, and miss it at times. I wouldn't mind picking up another one as a weekend car, but this one is too extensively modded (and too expensive) for my wants right now. It's almost like a show car... I can't imagine someone daily driving it with all of those expensive parts.
Good luck selling it though from one former S2000 owner! |
