I looked at the stickies and didn't see any restrictions on sales of non-BMWs so here goes...

I'm putting my S2000 up for sale. I am the second owner of the car. The first owner did all the mods to the car. The reason for selling is that I rarely drive the car. I used to drive it maybe a couple times a week but lately, it's been at most a few times a month. Therefore, the car basically sits in the garage and I don't need a garage queen. The car had 12,3xx miles when I bought it in June '08 and since then, I've put less than 2,000 miles on it so it currently has 14,061 miles. That just goes to show you how little I drive it.

I'm asking $30,000. The KBB value for a 2005 S2000 is about $20,000. If you add up the cost of mods alone, it's easily over $30,000 and that's without labor. The car is seriously a blast to drive and I would definitely keep if I was actually able to drive it. It's just the wrong car for me at the wrong time. No intentions to part out the car at the moment. If anyone has any questions or is interested, just leave a comment and I'll get back to you.

Sincerely,
Stanley

Holy Cow!
That looks angry and funny at the same time. I do appreciate the doubtlessly uncountable time you put in creating it though.

Good Luck selling it.

The only problem with this car is you can't really drive it on the streets, it would never get smogged. Therefore, would only be a show car really.

That is definitely untrue. Please do not post false information. If anyone is concerned with passing smog, they can PM me.

Car is putting down 380 whp on a Dynapack. It's tuned by Shawn Church at Church Automotive in Long Beach, CA. The car is easily capable of making more power with a more aggressive tune.

There can only be two sides, passing it or not passing it. You should list whether it would actually pass as to not mislead others with this post.

I just sold my AP1...love these cars...but in this economy, it's tough to sell a car like this...gotta find the right buyer, and usually mods do not increase value when selling a car...ur better off parting it out

The Vortech kit is CARB legal in CA but with the car as is, it won't pass. The OEM cat will have to go back in, RC Engineering injectors swapped back with stock, plug the stock ECU back in. Then the car is all good to go.

It's not difficult of a job but for those who would rather save themselves the trouble, there's always other options.

Yeah. I know that I will get substantially more money back if I part it out also, but I rather just sell the car as is. I'm going to be patient for a bit to see what's going to happen. If it doesn't sell, I'm going to part it out.

Nope. It's a road up Santa Anita in Arcadia that leads up to a hiking ground.

It is a blast to drive. Since I haven't driven the car for 2 weeks, I just took the car out for a 10 mile cruise with the top down. Perfect.

I used to have an AP2, and miss it at times. I wouldn't mind picking up another one as a weekend car, but this one is too extensively modded (and too expensive) for my wants right now. It's almost like a show car... I can't imagine someone daily driving it with all of those expensive parts.

Good luck selling it though from one former S2000 owner!

You can always buy the car and part it out. Then you'll have a '05 AP2 for around $10k~low $10k. Thanks for the bump though.
