Just remember E85 can be used for timing corrections on the same boost pressure. That's what I use E85 for (Not going over 20% as of yet, still waiting to see if this fueling system can handle it long-term), and it essentially does what an FMIC would do, preventing timing drops. Also, remember map 5 needs three WOT pulls throughout the RPM band in 3rd gear to adapt, so keep that in mind when dynoing.

Maybe I should stop using mobil gas and switch to shell . Should I post a log from earlier this year on mobil 93 to see if the timing is better. I'm thinking its either the mobil 93 or because of the storm shortages somewhere along the lines my tank isn't full 93 and has 91 or even maybe 87 mixed in there...

In my testing, Mobil 1<Shell<Chevron according to my logs. I tested all three down here and Chevron gas had the cleanest looking timing curve. I would give it a shot

Here's another log from 06/24/12 on 93 octane and map 5. This was also mobil 93

Thanks for the review! It's good to see some progress for XI owners who have been craving a DP option.

No problem! Hopefully they'll be up for sale sometime soon
