Is there a DIY for changing the mirror motor??
Just as title says. My drivers side mirror continuously points towards the ground when I unlock or lock the car! Very annoying to re-adjust everytime I get in my car. With that being said, will the new motor need to be coded? Any Diyer's out there??

Search for a thread with this very problem description. Cause: corrosion or faulty wiring causes the FRM to calculate an improper position for the mirror. Happens when unlocking the door and in some other instances. Fix is to pull the door panel and locate the mirror wiring. Clean all connectors and use dielectric grease to prevent future corrosion. If this doesn't fix it, you may need a new mirror motor.
