Pls 2 quick answers on v2

I have a drag in an hour and I need some info asap so if u have it hit me w it pls

1) How does the valet mode work? Its set on 300? the car revs above 300rpm at startup any way? Say if i set it at 5k rpm, does that mean if i rev the engine to 5k at start up the v2 is activated? or if the engine is reved to 5k the valet mode is activated?
2) Since i'm the only one that drives the car how do I cancel valet mode alltogethr?
3) From the dattalog file which column indicates the max boost i reach?
4) Do the settings take effect immediately

1) It is set at 300 so V2 is always on. If you set it to 2500 you would have to rev up to that within a short amount of time after start up to engage V2.

2) Valet mode is basically canceled with it set at 300rpm since the car goes higher then that on start up

3) I am not sure, someone else will chime in....

How soon after startup do you need to engage the V2? I had no idea it had that feature, but that's pretty snazzy.

Its pretty much as soon as you start the car and the engine fires up, you need to press on the throttle till you reach the rpms that u set to engage the Procede to turn on.

Do not set the valet to 0 RPMs, this will cause problems. Forgot what problem was mentioned, but 300 RPMs is a DEFINITE POWER ON for the v2. If you set it to 1000RPMs you will have to rev the engine ABOVE 1000RPMs immediately upon starting the car and hold it above 1000RPMs for about 2 seconds. Procede will then be on.

To read the datalogs....I assume you know how to datalog, no? When you press start data log, it will start and pressing end will prompt you to save it. Under the same dropdown menu, click View datalog and open your PROcede folder that is on your computer (somewhere on C:/) and find the data file. When you open it the left hand column will fill with things that have been datalogged. To find out what PSI is occurring at what RPM, right click Boost and click View 1. Then do the same for RPM and you will have a neato graph with Boost and RPMs. Boost and RPM #s will be displayed in the bottom lefthand corner.

And in any case, if you're following the install and testing instructions like you should be, you already have at least 50 miles on the car and know exactly what your max boost number is at the stock 90% settings.

If you don't know your max boost number you shouldn't be drag racing. For all you know you could be boosting way over 15psi - you probably aren't, but unless you datalog, you won't know for sure and that's a bad situation to be in.

People who rush the V2 install, don't test/datalog properly, fail to let the car adapt to V2, or fail to determine what boost they're running, are the ones who end up with a limp mode and/or other problems.

Just follow the V2 install instructions to the letter. Don't rush and don't cut corners. Take your time and do it right. Then go thrash the shit out of it!!!

I am reading this thread intently as I just last night installed v2. I had no problems but I still am confused on the dtalog. I am doing everything to the letter as stated above. However, I am unable to discern the max boost. I have nice graphs but that breaks down to somewhere about halfway between 10 and 20 psi. I cant tell on the graph if it is 14.5 or 15.0 or 15.5. Where do I get a NUMERICAL readout of this boost instead of the graph version? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Can someone explain how to change the RPMs to activate the valet mode?
I can't find this anywhere.

That's how you change the valet RPMs?
How do you change the RPMs that the V2 gets activated?

FYI... You should see full boost around 5500rpms. This is if your doing a 3rd gear pull.
