Looks like you just plugged the harness into the tail lights with the pre-lci wiring.

You have to get a needle and release the pins from the clip as shown here; the pre-lci and lci wiring are there. To get the wires out of the clip, you need to get a needle and push it into the each square hole and while pressing onto it, pull the wire out. Do this once for all four openings. Once you get the wires out, follow the instructions on the thread below and rearrange the wires, the wires will snap back into the clip; after that, plug them back into the tail lights.

Found someone that willing to swop his Lci trunk lid and tail lamps with me. What must I swop in order to make it works on my pre-LCI ?

I assumed only

1. Lci trunk lid
2. Tail lamps
3. ??

Please advice.

The trunk and the tail lights are all the parts that you need.
But you will always need coding in order to get rid of fast blinking and error code on dash

I badged it back as a 325i since right now, I do have the only E90 325i in Toronto with this tail light conversion. I also, got the car coded just now thanks to Dimsum and it is completely error free!
