BMW 335i Lease Prices-New York

Whats up fellas,

New to the BMW forums and hoping to becoming a bmw owner within the next upcoming months..

My lease is up on my G35 Coupe in March and I've been shopping around for a fully loaded 335i coupe, excluding the rear active steering. I was wondering if you guys could provide some feedback on the lease prices I've been getting as they are little higher than I've been looking to spend.

Out of pocket: $2,300
Lease term: 36 months
Monthly Payment: $740.00

Again all packages excluding the rear active steer which the brings the car up to roughly ~ 51,500.

I appreciate your input/feedback.

Did you try Life quality in brooklyn in bay ridge. Ask for Andy. And if you can do Euro delivery it would save you about $200.00 per month on your lease.

Oh and by the way see what money factor you are getting. You should be getting .00235 right now on that car with a residual of 68% for 15K miles a year or 70% residual for 12K miles a year. Thats on a 24 month lease. The rates on better on 24 month leases than on 36 month leases.

I just came back from doing my european delivery. Here is the way it works. Instead of prices being based on US dealer invoice its based on European dealer invoice which is lower than US dealer invoice. If you go on www.bimmerfest.com then click on forum, then click on 3 series 2006 to present, the first or second sticky is confidential prices. You find your model, then add up the cost. Meaning European dealer invoice, then your options (which are wholesaled), then add the normal $775.00 for delivery and lastly add $1000.00 to the dealer and there is your price. From that cost your dealer will base your lease. The catch is you have to go to Germany and pick it up, then wait 4-6 weeks for it to come here. BMW will pay for 2 weeks registration and insurance while you drive the car in Europe. You can drop it off in 18 different places. Spain, Germany, Italy, France, England, etc etc. And BMW gives you 2 for 1 plane tickets. I came back 3 weeks ago from munich and prague. Great time there. You get to tour the factory, which is amazing. You save like $6800.00. My dad is going Jan 14 to do the ED on a 535xi. His payment is $597.00 per month for 24 month @12k miles per year with $2400.00 out of pocket. If he didnt do Euro delivery he would be over $800.00. Look into it. Talk to Andy. Tell him Aaron sent you. Maybe Ill get a free key chain out of it. I already sent him 3 more for Euro delivery.

This definitely sounds like an option but just to understand correctly..they call once the car is built and I fly out and drop the car off to the port? Does bmw pay for shipping and are they still liable for the condition the car comes in? Also as far as plane tickets go, they cover your travel also?? How hard was it driving around Germany? I may have to explore this option..sounds pretty cool and like ill be savin a good amount. Thanks once again for helpin a noob out.

#1 You pay for the shipping, but then again you pay for the shipping even if you buy the car from a dealer here in the states. #2 Driving in Germany is great. #3 You pick 3 dates that you want to pick up your car and BMW will give you one of them. Then you pick it up on that day. #4 You have to buy your own plane ticket but if someone goes with you there ticket is free. The only thing the passenger pays for is their tax on the ticket. #5 BMW is still liable for the condition of your car.

With European delivery you also have to take into account the fact that you are paying Dollars for Euros. And the exchange rate has went up recently, making it more expensive.

Dude your not buying the car in Euro's you are buying it in Dollars. If it wasnt a benefit and the cost didnt make sence I wouldnt of done it. Neither would the last 3000 people who bought their cars this way in the United States. Vinny if you do what my dad did the entire trip will run you $1,100.00. you scheduale a pickup on a monday, therefore you fly out on Sat and get there Sun morning. Pick up the car monday and come home Tuesday. Or you can go crazy and pick up your car and go to Prague which is 225 miles away. By doing 130 on the Autobahn you should get there in under 3 hours. My friend and I had a blast there. Dont let anyone tell you that European delivery isnt a good deal. The ones that say it are just jealous that they didnt experience it. And lastly just look at the numbers. Numbers never lie in the end

Oh and the 3000 cars sold in the US doing euro delivery are based on numbers for 2006. 2007 numbers havent been released yet. Mercedes, audi, porshe, volvo, and saab do the same thing however bmw gives the highest discounts. No point to do a ED on an audi. All they give you is 5% off of MSRP. Add that to the cost of traveling there and you lost money.

BMW doesnt pay for your hotel. They will give you a tour of the factory. Give you breakfast in their waiting area and provide you with lunch in their resturant. The breakfast they had was pretty good. But i think that food is provided all day for people who pick up their cars through out the day.

Nice! Thanks for all the info bro. I'm going to get in touch with Andy this weekend and try to crack some numbers as well as find out more on ED.

Once again thanks for all the input.

if you do ED and lease the car are the miles you drive in europe add onto your lease? for example if your allowed to drive 15k miles a year and you drive 1k miles in europe do those miles take away from your original 15k miles a year?

Yes they do. But if you drive 1000 miles in europe it doesnt really matter because it will take 4-6 weeks to get the car here. During those 4-6 weeks there will be no miles put on the car. So its sort of adds up to the same thing
