Did someone change the title of this thread? Well, who would be interested on bov anyways...
Now that AA is at the forefront of 335 tuning offering a full tuning kit and the best hp gains in the market, I want to remind that there is always the option to purchase the stuff separately. Personally I like the proceedings of Shiv and coupled with some good aftermarket exhaust, the outcome would be top notch. If Shiv has anything to do with getting AA to the forefront I am proud of him. He knows his stuf when it comes to piggybacks. I hope he can get the inputs and outputs in my Procede to work hard for me soon.
Aa has probably the best catback exhaust. Hope they come out with a turboback. Their package would become even better.

Elevation does not play as large a role with turbocharged engines...

Yes, most are aware, but it still plays some role.
NHRA has two different formulas for "correcting" times based on elevation
1. Naturally aspirated motors
2. Forced Induction motors

Forced Induction cars use 1/2 correction factor (as compared to NA cars) according to NHRA rules.

Don't do 6th gear roll ons from 60mph, that is totally loading your engine in the area where it would be more prone to knock retard, etc.
Wow,those of you in Simi Valley/SFV, should come out to the Target Shopping Center at the Los Posas Exit in Camarillo. There were so many cars running around there it was crazy. Everyone is there on Saturday nights between 10pm-12am generally. Just last week, leaving there I had encounters with a 6.0GTO, a Mustang GT, and an Evo....it was really fun. Bring out your Procede 335i BMWs. You should park right next to the SRT4 gang.

Shiv implemented and configured the Xede device to work on the 335. Any numbers of hundreds of national and local speed shops are capable of doing the same thing. People seem to think because Shiv posted on this forum first that somehow he invented tuning, the idea of piggy back systems, or that his Xede work has anything to do with AA’s Xede work. Give me a break!
You are completely mistaken to think it's as easy as connecting 4 wires. It's like saying it's easy to make a dvd player because all you have to do is plug it in, connect to a TV, inset a DVD and hit play. I'd like to see you make a dvd player. You obviously have no clue about software engineering and mechanical/automotive engineering...it's not as easy as you think.

Additionally, we care about results, not digs at his inexperience. In 1999, Yahoo could have said:

Google

Resting on your laurels is a surefire way to get eclipsed by the competition. Now that said, Shiv, better up the ante with better products, these AA guys are vicious with their marketing.
i like your style

Well I read all 5 pages of this thread, and really only have 4 things to say/ask.

- Shiv, why didn't you patent Xede to prevent others from taking a product that you invested so much R&D into?

- Autowerke, can you answer some of the questions regarding your hp/tq figures and provide some dynos of each product alone and combined?

- It looks like Autowerkes has started some buzz about their product...which was the intent of their post.

- Can we stop arguing about tires, elevation, and track conditions?

could we also stop the bov bashing? i mean seriously think about it. it is 100% personal prefrence. so what if it is $700 with no performance gain? if $700 is an issue for you, i wonder how you got a bmw in the first place. Bov is purely based on personal matters. Rice or not not up to you but the owner of the car so who cares about that. you might say it is ricey and i might say well ur rims are cheap....please lets stop the bov bashing and focus on the more important stuff :rocks:

as far as i know the aa package is the best bang for the buck. although i would need the dynos, sounds, etc.

i know the supersprint solution is about $10k which includes, the downpipe, 100m or optional quad tips, straight pipe, x.

milltek also has a 100mm tip exhaust system being released followed by the cp-e setup.

having experience with supersprint on a previous m3, their quality is by far one of the best with amazing sound and performance. by far best bang for the buck....but very pricey. if i were to go with the aa setup, this would be a first aa exhaust i will be using.

anyone know if eisenhaus is comming up with a system?

I'm sure the AA products are great. I bought from Shiv cause he answers my emails. No customer service rep repeating what the tech support guy said repeating what the distributor said ... That's worth the price difference to me.

Now if he'll only respond to my questions about a Vishnu exhaust...

Talking

I have never met Shiv but in the few short weeks that I have been visiting this board I have read and listened to what Shiv has had to say as it relates to tuning in general and the 335 specifically. What I can say is that I feel Shiv is one of the most knowledgable guys I have had the pleasure of learning from.

Karl Hugh from Active is a guy just like Shiv. He is also extremely smart and a good developer. He has been buidling in large quantity Turboed and Supercharged BMW's for more than a decade. He is also a good businessman unlike so many in the this industry.

So the point is the more the merryier. Our Turbo Tuner product was meant for a different market than what Shiv developed but in some ways we are competitors. The same goes for what ever AA soon to be followed by Turner I hear. Heck even my tuning partners from England Superchips UK are nearly done with their own flash solution. Eurobahn will offer both products happily and give the customer the choice.

The owners of 335/535 are going to be a really lucky guys or girls as there will be a huge amount of goodies available for their rides.

Exactly! We (as consumers) should all be happy that we have so many talented and experienced tunners making products for our cars Now if only you guys could make more products for the 328i, lol... I'm not even a 335i owner, but I'm on here quite often, hehe... I would be psyched if so many well-known companies were making products for my soon to be ordered e93 328i Good luck to all the vendors and their products!
