No... having the tire tread flush with the fender would mean the tire is stretched and the wheel pokes. This is poke/stretch.
Hella Flush is in fact with the wheel being flush, but with a stretched tire to get the fender as close as possible to the wheel lip.

You can have both. Poke/stretch in the rear, and flush up front:

In extreme cases like this, it's only possible to get this low up front with air ride. Some daily their cars almost this low, but rubbing is not uncommon.

Factors to being hella flushed: Cambering, wheel size/width, tire size, offset, fender work, suspension work, height...

Good luck!

BMW's are known as "The Ultimate Driving Machine". Few are willing to compromise that for "Hella Flush" status.

and for anyone that is wondering, running a stretched tire is not a safety hazard. Once the tire is beaded, with proper air pressure, the tire will not come off under any normal circumstances. If a 225 wide tire on a 10" rim debeads because of an impact...a 275 tire would have had the same outcome.

here is my car. Not as flush as I would like it, as I need wider rims (currently running 9" front and 10" rear). I need to run atleast a 235 width tire to control this heavy beast while sliding. I also have VERY thick fenders, so I would have to run a 235 on a 10.5 or 11" wheel to really be flush.

buddies car

If anyone needs help picking wheels feel free to shoot me a PM. I have been fitting flush wheels on many different cars for years now. All you need is a little extra work to roll ur fenders, and some simple math. And if done properly even some of the most aggressive setups will not rub due to the wheel cambering in upon compression.

RA2Fanatic...look REAL good :-)

right on your from risky devil huh?? haha and love ur supra and ur buddies i.s.! nice work

not everyone tracks their car every weekend or at all for that matter. infact most people drive their car at the speed limit on public roads. which is fine for being flush if u know how to drive
