limited slip or lightweight wheels

I have a financial dilemma. I can either go for those amazing MORR Alloy VS7 wheels/tires or get a limited slip. What with the amount of wtq projected for PROcede v2 (~380!), an LSD is the best way I can get the power to the ground. On the other hand, reducing my unsprung weight by ~12-14 lbs/wheel ain't too shabby either. What would you do? Thanks!

Go for the LSD... when it rains or snows, you'll be happy!

LSD will be a better performance bang for the buck, 12 pounds of rolling weight is nice, but not that huge of a difference.

First of all most people dont know this but for every pound you take off of your wheels its like 4 lbs off the car, the stock wheel and tire setup on the 335 weighs in at around 60lbs +/- the Morr Alloy VS7 wheels are 19lbs and 20lbs with tires lets say you are removing about 18lbs per corner approx. thats 72 pounds of unsprung weight which comes out to 288lbs off of your car. I think that will do a little more than an LSD will. Also on top of that how many of you have seen a 335 do a nice burnout? It leaves 2 nice treadmarks on the ground evenly, so i dont think LSD is going to help too much in the 1/4 but it will definitely help in the corners. my .02

I say go with the LSD now then get wheels once your tires are worn out.

LSD will make for quicker launches AND better acceleration out of corners.
Much better mod than wheels.
Forget the weight loss of the wheels and only drive with 1/2 tank of gas.

LSD is better performance mod, no doubt.
Wheels is better bling / visual mod, no doubt.

Do both....... and get good sticky tires too......

Actually it is a huge difference, but I agree the LSD would be a better buy.

Every time you need to do a U-turn, you will know you made the right decision with the LSD!

But everytime you park your car and look at it...you will wish you had gotten the wheels.

Having said that...if I was in your position...I would probably get the LSD...then upgrade the tires/wheels when I had the money.

If you can already do a burnout, then you've demonstrated that the power exceed the tires capabilities, correct? Get the wheel/tires that can match or exceed the power first then go for the LSD. You may find that your suspension would not match the corning capabilities of your progressive upgrades, prior to the LSD upgrade.
