e92 LCI x 335XI x Subtle Drop x 8 Mos Progress x Tons of Pics!
One of my brudda's came through late last night to lower my ride, finished up close to midnight so did not chance to really check out the drop.
Tons of pictures ahead so if you dont want to look, then dont, if you do, then dont complain or GTFO! Dropped on H&R Springs, so far ride is great! no complaints! NEXT MODS: - adding spacers, 20mm rear, 15mm front - adding lip to msport bumper - amber side bumper reflector delete WILL NOT MOD: - no more low - black out trim CONSIDERING - tint..... Here is the old thread, before the drop. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=789339 Enjoy! Clean car very cool location for a photoshoot as well. Honestly though the car would look a million times better with a real drop that basically looks like a stick e92 non xi. Either then that everything is beauty

I wouldn't start with the daily driver thing, there's tons of other members on the forum that are way lower and daily drive on rough roads. That must've been one hell of a pothole btw

As for, the drop, that's exactly what I thought, I basically have the height of a stock sport suspension (like in my old e90) its a huge difference coming from Xi though, I love checking out dumped rides, just not practical for me right now. Not practical, heck the e92 is not practical (this stage of my life), I've got a family and being quite selfish with this little coupe of mine heh. Cant do it my dude, daily driver and the e92 is high maintenance enough, probably the most demanding chick I have ever known!! Always wants me to buy sh*t, I've got to draw the line somewhere! heh Vancity!! Quote:

Looks clean! So you don't want to black out the window trim? Would look better IMO. Just curious. As for the drop it looks just right. It'll probably go a little lower once it settles.

I will soon! just havent been able to source them locally yet but I will eventually.
Thx, I am no photographer, I just borrow my wife's camera with 50mm lens, no zoom, no wide ! Thx man! Quote:
I measured the height, on H&R springs part# 50494-2 it sits at following: 25.5 rear (1.5 finger gap from fender) 26.2 front (2 finger gap from fender So, there is a slight difference, however, the stock XI height (did not measure) was 2 1/2 Fingers rear & 4 fingers front so it is big improvement, might look into perches but still have to research on wether that's possible on XI + H&R Springs + Stock Shocks. Thx man, see below, I'd like to run 275 but I'm against adding anymore weight (might be neglible), while it looks good, I'd like to reduce and I',m actually looking for a cat system which might reduce by 40+ pounds! 19x9.5 front 245/35/19 19x10.5 rear 265/30/19 |

Thx man!
Thought I'd post the stock pics, this is what she looked like the day prior to handing my $$ over Used to hate the stock front e92 LCI bumper, but in retrospect, it looks quite good(to me, anyhow) 20120315_190508 by Iceburg, on Flickr 20120315_190738 by Iceburg, on Flickr 20120315_190526 by Iceburg, on Flickr |

Your car looks great, clean and classy. My only suggestions would be black window trim and painted reflectors.

Haha fair enough. My car's quite a bit lower and to be honest even though I love how it looks it is such a pain. I have to go so slow and take massive angles exiting parking lots. Anyways your car still looks awesome!
