I just got this Injector in the mail from TischerBMW, i didnt order anything else such as decoupling element or the gasket ring.......

http://realoem.com/bmw/photos/13537585261.jpg

Do i need to order now BOTH the decoupling element and the gasket ring/teflon seal or i'm good with just the decoupling element? Nothing else came with the injector and nothing seems to be on the injector, it just looks exactly as the picture shown above. Sorry for the nub q's but, a lil help is needed. Thank's.

The teflon ring is under the cap at the tip of the injector. Do not remove the cap until you are ready to install the injector. Pull the cap off by hand by putting a rag around it twist and pull. Do not use pliers, you can damage the injector. You will still need the decouplin element

Nope, you have to remove injector as it is not visible and deep inside.

...this is still missing the decoupling element!

It is item 10 on this image:

Part number: 13537564751

This is a metal ring that clips onto the injector and it has nothing to do with the black teflon seal ring which every injector has!

The decoupling elements are 1-time use only!

Its rather easy! If you can change the spark plugs, you can change the injector!

is 13-53-7-585-261 the most recent FI for the 335i? I was just curious if there was a replacement after this number?

I had all six of my injectors replaced on Feb 18 and that's the p/n on my invoice.

I have a n54 that doesn't fall into the production dates, but all of my injectors are 317-10. I just had 1 or 3 go out on me and trying to figure out if the car is going to the dealer or I'm going to do this myself. Anyone have any input? My production date is 09/06.

Well, it's really up to you to determine if you can handle replacing injectors on your own...
