Pics of Trunk Meth Tank setups

Im putting the 2.2 CM tank in my trunk this weekend , i was wondering if you guys have any pics of your trunk tank setups? Where did you put the pump and the tank?

I can put my pump inside the tank structure but im not sure where I want to mount it... As of now I am going to either put it against the back seat and use a funnel to fill it up OR put it off to the side in the trunk closest to the rear....

Any pics and tips on how to route/run the lines would he great... I know my 135 had some blue and white lines than ran the legth of the car under the undertray, Im assuming its on the e92 as well but any tips will help!

Thanks !

back seat is a bad idea

what happens during that one time you actually need to fold the seat down to transport something?

Here was a car that I did - all the wires were hid in cable bundles and the tank was mounted with on rubber tabs and shims to avoid aeration and allow the side clip to be accessed for removing the side mount battery cover.

I am going to do an install similar to yours. How did you route the hose from the tank to the pump in plastic bin? I see that you drilled a hole in the bin, but more specifically I would like to understand how did you route the hose from the battery compartment under the tank to that hole in the bin? Did you drill through the metal or is there a rubber grommet or a way out of the battery compartment to reach the outside of the plastic bin?

thanks

Howerton makes tank cases that house the meth tank and pump, and protect them from stuff rattling around in the trunk.

Here's mine. Still haven't had the time to hide the pump - but as-is it works just fine.

It's very expensive, and shipping from Australia is pricey as well. But i love it.

Thanks!

Any priming issues being that the pump is located above the tank?

Hi JP... If you have after market pipes, there really isn't anything under the middle of the plastic tray, you could cut a rectangular section out of the tray and make a box big enough to drop into the hole so you can seal it up and paint it black. Then just mount the pump so everything is under the floor cover in the boot.

At some point I'm going to relocate the amp (which is under the tray where the pump is), and put the pump down there.
