I will.
Particularly around 4pm when my contact lenses start to dry out a little and it feels like these are burning a hole in my retina. Sorry, but this trend for fettling about with something that fundamentally is not broken and is done for supposed aesthetic purposes only really makes driving at night a pain in the arse for me.

Well sorry. But have you ever owned a BMW with stock halogens? Not particularly the most appealing part of the car. This is the only thing that can be done...or would you rather us stick a HID kit in it and blind you for life? And yes it does make it more aesthetic. /rant |

Yes, I've had two so far.
I come from the school of thought where sidelights are merely to alert other road users to your presence; not to make my car more visibly appealling. Where I live there appears to be a trend for fettling with the lights which started when Audi decided to stick a strip of fairy lights on the front of their cars. Many of these DIY jobs are badly aimed/over powered and thus make driving more of a pain than it needs to be. In my opinion I will notice this and thus to think that it doesn't matter and 'no will know' is a little short-sighted. I wouldn't be surprised if you drove around with your front fog lights on as it gives your car greater 'road presence' and makes your car more 'aesthetically pleasing'. To me the aesthetic qualities of a car line more in the body shape and contours not whether it has sidelights brighter than they need to be. Apologies to the OP as my post would have sat better in a thread on 'What annoys you about driving in present day Britain'. Sikkbass, our opinions differ and I'll leave it at that. However, if you ever find yourself behind a blue estate car at night with your blinging lights on don't be surprised if the driver give you the bird.

Secondly I was talking about the whole headlight not just the sidelights. Having stock halogens throughout the headlight is not aesthetic and the contours, lines of the vehicle and other crap you're talking about does not make this any better at night. You're right its your opinion vs mine so we will not get an answer, I believe my car looks better now than it did stock with the lighting improvements and everythings fully e-marked so whose to argue? |

Sup William...Not much to see really ma man. Just brighter whiter light lol. I'll put a vid up I took just after the gym.
Looks glarey dare I say it and you can't see the tints of blue you see IRL. Fogs were on just so I could see what they looked like. |

I think some of the E92's with xenons have DS2 bulbs for dipped beam, H7 for High Beam and 501's for sidelights.......I might be wrong though so always good to check
