Sickbass, just to let you know, those LED sidelight are no where near as bright as the AUDI type ones in the daylight. Only look good when it starts to go dark.

Well sorry. But have you ever owned a BMW with stock halogens? Not particularly the most appealing part of the car. This is the only thing that can be done...or would you rather us stick a HID kit in it and blind you for life?

And yes it does make it more aesthetic.

I come from the school of thought where sidelights are merely to alert other road users to your presence; not to make my car more visibly appealling.

Where I live there appears to be a trend for fettling with the lights which started when Audi decided to stick a strip of fairy lights on the front of their cars. Many of these DIY jobs are badly aimed/over powered and thus make driving more of a pain than it needs to be. In my opinion I will notice this and thus to think that it doesn't matter and 'no will know' is a little short-sighted.

Well you'll be happy to know the LEDs threw an error for a start!

Secondly I was talking about the whole headlight not just the sidelights. Having stock halogens throughout the headlight is not aesthetic and the contours, lines of the vehicle and other crap you're talking about does not make this any better at night.

You're right its your opinion vs mine so we will not get an answer, I believe my car looks better now than it did stock with the lighting improvements and everythings fully e-marked so whose to argue?

Id like confirmation these BMWs were E90s and not E46's first before committing to buy. A lot of people on the forum have tried for LED sidelights with no luck.

I think some of the E92's with xenons have DS2 bulbs for dipped beam, H7 for High Beam and 501's for sidelights.......I might be wrong though so always good to check
