Can somebody recommend a place in the Madison or Milwaukee area to have downpipes installed?

Talked to a guy named Aaron who has a shop in Port Washington, 25 min north of Milwaukee. Shop is called Quantum Performance. Email is best way to get a hold of him.

I live about a mile from his shop. I haven't done any work with him yet, but other bimmer owners can vouch for his work. Really nice guy with a super clean shop. Also an authorized Cobb dealer if you ever had any interest in those products.

Yea, I checked out the website and saw pics of the shop. Looked good. The website was laid out well and functional too, which is something you don't see too often.

Did you see the mega $$ in-ground AWD dyno in the pics?

Nothing here yet either but my car comes out of warranty this year so I'm planning to add some HW mods to compliment my AP.

No, I didn't see that.

The estimate I was given for the DP installation was pretty high so I won't be going there to get this done but I'll keep the shop in mind for future needs.

Yeah he charges close to 100/hour so not cheapest around.

Saw the mustang dyno in person and pics are on FB page.

You should try doing it yourself, it's honestly not that hard if you take your time

it shouldn't take more than 3 hours even if the shop wasn't familiar with the car. i had to walk through a tech step-by-step recently for putting on my stock pipes for emission, and it only took him 2.5 hour.

I was shocked when I saw the quote of 5.5 hours. I, a noob when it comes to fixing cars, could probably do it in less time than that.

I can't see your signature on phone but is your car xdrive? Think it takes a bit longer on those.

How did you like the shop, service and price? Will have to look them up.

I highly recommend. I think it's just one guy with a shop. He was friendly and even let me watch. He was fairly quick, despite having to wrestle with a few bolts not wanting to come off. I think it was $150 for the DP install and maybe a little less to have new control arms installed.

He has a website and you can contact him by email. That's how I set everything up.
