Regarding the M3 mirrors. I was at my dealership this morning and the M3 coupe mirrors definitely look like they could fit my E93. I'm now going to call my service guy and see what the cost would be part and installation wise. I'll get back to this thread when I find out more.

But the mirrors look great in person, they do fold (premium option behavior) and the triangular panel the mirror is attached to has a more brilliant black coating to it, almost glossy looking as compared to our cars.

Could you give a little more detail. I took some basic measurements on the hinges and side to side but did not do length. I was just about to order the hood! Is the area in front of the radiator longer out. If so, the fenders are probably longer. The grills and the headlights are the same. Did you do coupe to coupe or sedan to coupe, etc. I just got off the phone with my parts guy. The part#'s are different for the sedan and coupe even though they look the same. This news bums me out.

There are both types. Depends if the car has premium pack or not.

M3 Coupe Side Mirror Pricing

The one I saw at my dealership today was auto-folding

So here is the pricing I just received from my local dealership's parts department:

M3 coupe auto folding, heated side-mirrors
$495 each without glass and cap
$416 for each glass
$56 for each cap
$91 for paint

So that's $1058 per mirror (painted)

Then double that and add maybe a hour or two for installation... Yikes!

Regarding the glass:

It definitely is not interchangeable. Here is a picture I took at the Detroit Auto Show of the M3 coupe's mirror.

I think I'll live with my stock mirrors. Oh well, would've been a sweet looking mod.
