LCI
I drives an E90 330i, and just wondering if the LCI bonnet and headllights will fit a 2007 model like mine. Thinking of changing but unsure if it will fit.
Any advise most welcome. Cheers |

If you have a look at the kidney grilles - the LCI grille doesnt extend onto the actual bonnet whereas on the pre-LCI, the top of the kidney grille is part of the bonnet. Therefore I think it would be difficult or may require a few other bits and pieces to fit everything in place!
Good luck!

As stated above you would need to replace bumper and bonnet as well as the grills. i dont know the clearance differences of the 1/4 panels either. might be an expensive waste of time for such a little cosmetic difference.

Don't foget the new boot & tail lights whilst your at it...
IMO it'd be a waste of time (& money) to try and update a pre-LCI to look like an LCI.

Way too much money. I'd estimate around $1500 just for the headlights, $1000 for the bonnet and another 700ish for the bumper and then paint etc. etc. Not worth it in the end.
It would be very similar with the facelifted e46's and i think there has been 1 conversion in the world and that was to the m3 owned by one of the fifth gear presenters. |

At the risk of telling you what to do, I'd say 'don't do it' - you'll start looking like those VT Commodore owners who fitted Monaro tail lights and bonnet scoops...

Thanks for all your valuable feedback and opinions. It's a just a thought that crosses my mind, but I guess I should appreciate the way the car looks as it is. Thanks all.

If you want to update the look of your car, i'd throw on some blackline tail lights & maybe look at putting a Hartge lip on it. Otherwise you could always retro fit an MSport kit if you don't already have one.
