Anyone have problems with a rattle coming from passenger side A pillar, possibly where it meats the dash?

My trims pieces definitely "pop" on the passenger side. Tried searching for a solution to nothing really. Do you know of a good fix?

I don't know if you have this but check your EZ-pass. The sound was bouncing off the dashboard, almost went to the dealer for it.

Normally cleaning and using a good protectant will keep them from squeaking or making other noises. Check the car care section for more info.

I still can't pinpoint where mine is coming from. Either the passenger's head rest or the passenger's seat belt.

I have developed rattles in a few places. The roll bar covers have warped, so I removed them, covered the roll bar in closed cell foam (HushMat brand), then filled the spaces between butresses with HushMat. Fixed that one. Then I noticed the ski pouch covers rattle horribly...they're coming off next.

This is the one that really gets me, though: The left front fender has delaminated, and has a nasty rattle now. I've ordered some 3M 8115 panel adhesive to fix it, but has anyone else heard of this one?

I've actually found that I have a rattle that comes from the passenger seat's headrest adjustment ring. It's slightly loose and rattles until I push it back in a bit. If you hit the seat with your hand, you should be able to tell if there's a rattle coming from somewhere. I also have a rattle in my center dash if I hit that as well, but it comes and goes.

i had the rattle in mine (center console area), then it stopped once i put vinyl on all the trim pieces. now VERY quite like new

For squeaks, gummi pflege on all rubber mouldings/seals.

For rattles, remove the panel and either stick felt to the sheet metal or use foam strips.

My car was rattle free until I added downpipes and a dp back exhaust

Glovebox and pillars were the two biggest culprits.

How does it run? It's always a liquid. They make foam applicators on top of the bottle and you just rub it on. It's impossible to put too much with the foam applicators. I actually find they dispense too little.

when they hit about 140F the compounds start to separate. By 200F you have stuff running down the rubber. Not sure where you are, but around here we have to think about that. When it's 120 outside, and you park in the sun, underdash areas can easily reach 185 in an hour

i tried using a piece of felt between the A pillar and dash board on passenger side which eliminated the that rattle, only to find out had the same rattle on the driver side (which I fixed through the same method for now). Now I noticed that theres one coming from the rear driver side door pull which is really annoying, + theres no obvious way to tighten or isolate the rattle there. The radio is the best solution...

I found the solution to my major rattle online somewhere. I had a major rattle fromo behind the radio...a metal type rattle. I inserted a piece of 1/4" hard rubber hose sideways into the gap between the center console and the bottom of the radio/AC control panel. Put it another way...if you look at the most forward part of the center console...you'll see it goes under the bottom of the radio/AC panel. I just sqeezed the hose in that gap on both the right and left side...problem fixed.

Just thought I'd mention it...something to try.

felt is, probably, the cheapest, and most effective way to reduce rattles of trim panels. Since my line of work tends to CAUSE rattles (I've been in car audio for over 20 years) we've had to figure out ways to make it stop. Felt, foam, butyl, aluminum, lead...you name it, we have products to help. Unfortunately, mass loading (adding weight to) the panel is the best way to reduce rattles and road noise, and we want our cars as light as possible. We're going to have to make a trade at some point.

Got a rattle in the middle of the cabin under certain acceleration. I have a clunk that sounds like a broken shock toward the back left part of the cabin too. Just got used to it.

When the top is down it doesn't even matter

its the passenger seat belt use some WD40 that will help
