Bad Exclusive Alloy EX-M1 from JleviSW.com

UPDATE "I contact the JleviSW.com they reply my email right away. They took care of everything!!! Excellent customer service!!!!

JleviSW.com is on the top of my vendor list! They stand behind the product they sell!

Thanks for all the help from NICK at JleviSW.com .

I order a set of Exclusive Alloy EX-M1 Staggered Wheel Set with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tries on April from JleviSW.com. I final received my rims couple weeks ago. After I installed the rims I noticed vibration through the steering wheel right away. I thought it was just a front wheel off balance. So I schedule an appointment at the Local BMW service dealer to get the front wheels rebalance (This dealer has the best wheel balancer Hunter GSP9700 with Road force measurement ). The BMW dealer told me that the wheels cannot be balance because the wheels is defected. Quote from the dealer report ” A Manufacturing defect. LF OUT OF BALANCE BY 25G AND 75G and the roadforce is excessive by 32LBS. RF RIM 20G and 40G Roadforce excessive:” I have not ask the dealer the rebalance the rear wheel. But dealer think the rear wheels will have the same problem too.

PS: anyone run into problem balancing the Exclusive Alloy EX-M1 rims?

Hi Donald,

I received your email this morning and will be contacting our manufacturer immediately about the issue. If it's a defective wheel, we will certainly replace it for you. In the future, it is best to give us a chance to resolve the problem before resorting to forum posts but I certainly understand your concern and frustration. Not to worry, we will make sure you are taken care of.

So far I still think they are a good dealer JleviSW.com. They did reply quickly to email I send them about the rim problem . They said they will contact the manufacturer to found a solution. I think they will stand behind the product they sell.

I will keep you guys post the for the solution

PS: Thanks Nick from JleviSW.com for the qiuick response.

+100.
Seriously try to solve it with the vendor first. Your post makes it look like they denied you service/warranty. Not cool

^^^ kids or not...they are running a very good business in my opinion. They are very professional and definitely have the technical knowledge about their product line. Their contribution to the forums is also very valuable. I've dealt with many, many vendors running bigger shops and that are total idiots, ignorant and would say anything to sell their crap.

Give them a chance to fix the problem.

The reason I post so far is not complaint about JleviSW.com. They reply quickly to my email and they will contact the Manufacturing about this problem and help me reslove this issue.

I post this thread is to find out anyone running into the same problem with balancing the Exclusive Alloy rims? Is this just an isolated problem or more common? I know they are rep rims so I don’t expect they look and finished to be as good as the real BBS. But I do expect the rims can be balance correctly and STRUCTURAL sound.

I just want to get my defect part replace. I feel good that JleviSW.com with help me reslove the rims issue.

Nick responded to all my questions and concerns in a prompt and professional manner and trust me I had alot of questions.
JLevi is ok in my book.

I placed an order for a wheel and tire package from Nick at Jlevisw and even though I won't get the order for a few days yet, I have to say, based on the customer service ( emails of the status of the order, etc) these guys ( young or not) run their business the way a lot of others should.
Before ordering from Nick, I got quotes from other vendors for the same package and price aside, the others either were very UNprofessional or didn't return my calls at all.
I will hold off on giving a total thumbs up until I receive the order, but based on their customer service...........

+1, 21 total post, couldn't wait for vendors response, not cool. Now if no response after 2 business days, that would be a different story.

I recieved rims from Nick, no issues with balance, prefect fitment, one of stickers was a little loose, nick said he'd send a new one no questions asked, I told him to wait till I placed an order for something else, which I'm still getting around to.
