IMO this car is missing the M3 skirts. That little touch would make the car standout alot more and add a very noticable part of the M3 look to the car.

I would just leave the 335XI logo and deff get rid of those pedals, but it's up to you.

Nice xi. If youre wanting to go more of a m3 look, do the m-tech kit. BTW we both have a 335 and an nsx

I have to agree, get the 335xi badge off, and put the 3 at the end of Dinan. I did almost the same thing to mine, Dinan stage 2 ECU, Dinan Stage 2 Suspension, Dinan exhaust, and foot pedals. I drove mine, then an M3, not much difference. I live in Denver, the altitude effects the M3 engine more than the 335's. Also if you watch the Dinan 335 v M3 video on youtube, it opens your eyes.

I guess I'll have to keep an eye open for that car. Every once an a while my wife goes "look, there goes some ED plates!".

I did briefly see something like yours in the distance dream cruise week, but it was just a brief glimps - coulda been anyone.

(A low riding blue wagon, now that is something you don't see every day!)

LMAO! Good call, Amigo!

Dude, you did a great job on your ride. Overall, tastefully done. Glad you debadged.....makes the Roundel stand out even more.....a little tint might just finish it off. Are the shoes the same all around or do you have a staggered setup?

Your ride is probably more akin to the Audi RS8, than the M3.

Wait!!!!

You and I are aiming too low.....I think your whip is closer to the AWD Nissan GT-R, with a double clutch powered by a 3.8L twin-turbo V6, good for 480 horsepower and 434 ft-lb of torque.

So forget all comparisons to the M3 and let the snots who can't appreciate your efforts bloviate amongst themselves. The GT-R's powertrain is reportedly good for a zero to 60 time of 3.5 seconds, a quarter mile time of only 11.7 seconds and a top speed of 192 mph.

I knew what you were really aiming for in your mods!

Lowcruzr, YES. The Stage 2 ECU upgrade is worth the 2 grand! It boosts the turbos from 8.8 psi to 13 psi, you really notice it around 2600-2800 rpm, it takes off like a rocket. I did the Stage 2 supension, exhaust, and K&N air filter, I'm proud of my Dinan 3 badge. Sure there are guys here that will put it down, but when I drive my car, it's almost as good as sex.

not here to hate, but the Dinan stage II flash is pretty far behind these days. I have several friends w 335's who have already thrown away their 2k on that flash, had the car flashed back to stock and have now moved on to other tuning methods.

OP - once again, great looking car but for me you need to remove those clear reflectors, odd looking.

OP, you didn't even earn the points for the Dinan badge with just software, just remove it... It's taky

Like everyone else said, nice car... But you didn't do much .. Dinan + Coilovers...
Don't fool yourself into thinking you have anything close to an M3...

Sniz, Thats cool, I'm not racing my car. For what I wanted/needed from the car, Dinan filled the bill.
OP, you need 10 points for the badge!

Handling with an XI is relative to the track.

On a super tight track (like auto-x), AWD can help a LOT.

Square setup, more front -camber, stiff sway bar in back, LSD+ no traction control, stiffer suspension... yeah, you can rotate very well. Plenty of oversteer. And you can actually oversteer *more* than RWD if you use your front to 'pull' you around while the back swings around (hell, you can spin in place).

Plus the AWD lets you exit a tight turn HARD.

What you can't do is oversteer on the longer turns where there is too much traction to make any oversteer.
And you can't just keep applying power forever in a sweeper because you'll eventually go too fast, so your oversteer is very limited with an XI.

So, it just depends on the setup and what the turns are like.

Tighter turns favor an XI, looser turns favor an I.
