Do I need coding for rear fog light switch with thumb wheel adjuster

Can someone tell me if I require coding
I've purchased a light switch part number 6932792 it is the one with the rear fog switch, but also has a thumb wheel control to adjust the height of the head lights (I think?????? that's what its for) I do have active head lights on the car. If I do require coding can anyone explain what feature would have to be enabled. Greatly Appreciated.
