18x9.5 +34 all around on stock pre-lci XI suspension?

From everything I'm able to gather, 18x9.5 +34 LM reps in a square set up should fit all around on stock ride height, but I may encounter some issues when I decide to get coilovers. Anybody have a similar set up?

Yes they will fit with a 235/40/18 or a 245/40/18. If you get coilovers you will need a spacer in the front. Also you should use a 12-15mm spacer in the rear otherwise the rear will be sunken in while the front is nearly flush.

Thanks. Any recommendations on size of spacer for fronts when I get coilovers?

A 5mm might be enough but you should search or wait for someone else to answer.

That sizing is more aggressive than we recommend, but I've seen people do similar specs with our wheels (ET33 instead of ET34). You may need a spacer in the front to clear the coilovers though.

235/40/18 is generally what I've heard of people using.

a 5mm should be fine. you'll probably want a larger spacer in the rear to even out the look.

but please do the drop before wheels. stock xi height ..

Thanks all.

Essentially, I know its not a perfect fit, but it's basically some clearance wheels with Varrstoen. I originally wanted a staggered setup, but thought it might be a good compromise given the sale price. When I do the math, its probably going to cost the same with cost of 4 spacers, plus I always wanted 19"s from the start

Theres nothing wrong with this fitment. 9.5 up front works very well because its pretty much flush and an easy fit.

I contacted Varrstoen and they said fronts are fine but rears won't work once I get coilovers unless I roll the fenders. Still might be worth doing

You might need a slight roll in the rear depending on how low you go and what spacers you use. Without the spacers theres no way it would rub.

With coilovers you definitely need spacer like 5mm. I used to have 18x9.5 et35 front with 235/40/18. It had about 2mm clearance to stock shocks. Also had 9.5 et30 front and now it is 9.5 et22 front.

For rear at least 12mm spacer and if you use 235/40/18 rear also you wont need fender roll. I used to have 18x9.5 et22 rear with 235/40/18 and i was going to add 10mm spacer to those, but instead bought new wheels.

You probably could add about 15-18mm spacer to your 9.5 et34 rear and still wouldn't rub with 235/40/18.

Which wheels did you have? Do you happen to have more pics?

Nice car!

The 5 mm spacer helps, but it doesn't look terrible in that first set of pics. This was helpful. Thanks
