Curious how many of us are using it and what kind of plans you have.

My MDX was up for renewal, and the BMW trial ran out this week. I called them to cancel the account and ended up with both vehicles for $5/month each. I'm happy to pay $5 a month for the service.

I had a 90 day trial. When it was up I called to see if I could get any kind of decent deal. Felt I was talking to a person with no authority - was offered nothing. $159/year. I passed. If I could get it for $5/month I would, but their marketing team is effed up - they don't seem to have any consistency, and I don't like the product well enough to "keep calling back and hoping to get a better rep".

I just got the tuner for my aftermarket headunit comes with 3 months free.

My experience with them is let your license lapse and you'll start getting offers and offers. The problem I have with them is that they have NO non auto renewing plans. So after your deal is up they automatically renew you at the then current rate. You have to remember to cancel and sometimes that is hard to do (they make it difficult). If they didn't treat you this way and not automatically renew etc. I'd sign up again. They offered me, for instance, a 6 month for 25 plan - auto renew when the 6 months were up. Since my car only had 6 months left on lease I passed because I didn't want the hassle of cancelling.
It just isn't worth the regular price to me and the effort to remember and then cancel. Every couple of months they re-active for a 1 week or so trial so I listen but again figure it isn't worth their price vs. the options now available or just using my iPhone music.

You could possibly pay with a prepaid credit card or gift card so they can't auto renew.

Once it auto renewed it when I called to cancel. $5 each car, not total. So $10/month for two cars.

Doesn't matter what you pay with, they will automatically renew your account and bill you at the general rate. Usually it's around $25/month. They're a nightmare to deal with. The best we ever got was $7/month for the wife's van. I haven't even bothered to try and get a deal on my car. Not worth the hassle.

Well I wish I could change my vote. After I voted and commented on this thread, I found a link on their site that was to entice 'former' customers. Well, I called and this time I was able to get 12 months $86 (they also offered $25 for 6 months but I didn't want to go through it all again in 6 months so I went with the longer term.

So now I'm a subscriber again.

6 months at 24.99 plus taxes come to about 31. When I am up for renewal I will just ask for the same package. I have it set up as invoice so it will not auto renew at the full rate. I love Sirius and I pay for Spotify. I will pay $5 per month but not anymore since I have Spotify and can listen to radio on that and listen to my own music also.
