And how do you call driving 19" wheels with an Xdrive suspension?

I just got my e91 LCI yesterday. Ist going to look almost like yours. Performance grills, splitter and Wheels. Just in Alpine White. Will post pictures later today

Just a couple of questions:
If you are running OE M359 what did you modify to get them to fit?

What size and tyres brand are you using?

You are dropped on coils right?

Thanks Vacheron

Lately, of all BMWs, I've been lusting after a wagon, and all this E91 porn is just making it worse. Keep it coming!

Give us some more pics though

what setup did you go with? was the installation a pita? from what I understand it seems like you have to remove a bit of the interior when changing suspension on the E91..? (see http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=851287 as an ex.)

Updated that thread with a little diy info. post nr 17

Hope this helps. Once you know how.. it isn't that difficult. The hardest part was trying to figure out how to remove the domes (seatbelt cover) without destroying everything. There's just one little screw underneath holding the trunkliner Realoem diagrams weren't that clear, couldn't find any diy info... so we initially thought the dome and everything towards the rear was one piece.

Cheers, nice write up! How long did the installation take? It's a pity the wagon is a bit more difficult to work with when doing susp work.

Including figuring out how to remove the interior? About 6-7 hours accumulated I think. Had a lunch break, getting some extra tools, etc... and we removed too much of the interior, which in hindsight wasn't necessary. So it wasn't 6-7 straight hours of work)
Knowing then what I know now, I think we could have done it in 4-5 hours easily.

And if you have the rear spring compression tool, it will be so much easier and than it can be done even quicker.

Puh, quite some work but you pulled it off! Don't have the skill to do it at home so I have to talk to my shop later this week for a quote, but I'm guessing about $650-800 - and that's a lot of money for installation. Doing my trans service on Thursday and it's $940 alone.
