Again car is in good hands with Shiv and FFTEC so hope you get it all sorted with as little pain to wallet as possible, really sorry this has happened to you.
I was in the shop a few weeks before the closed the doors and it was like no one really cared what was going on. I notice that Eric's turbo was sitting on the bench in parts. I should have pulled my phone out and took pictures. I'm sure this was a last minute ditch effort to get the car running so they could just drive it out of the shop...

Sounds like another clue everyone at HPF saw this coming and just didn't GAF...

How this car was ever on the dyno is beyond me. We haven't even started the car yet. It's really disappointing that the car was built the way it was built
When I saw this car last Summer, in August, it only had a few things down and I could have sworn they were still R&Ding some items and testing things. That would explain the condition it was in. They probably never finished. By no means am I giving an excuse but the car didn't look that bad last time I saw it (August 2012).

Sad to hear this, especially for a fellow service member. My advice would be slowly put it back to stock and sell the car. If you owe $20k your payments are probably $200 a month? You can easily make that if you are E5-E9. W2-W4 would be a piece of cake and 01E-04 would be easy.. I don't know your rank but it will be very tough if you are E1-E3. Just saying. Plus you have a family.

Take it one day at a time and like I said things will fall into place. By no means did any of us say this was going to be easy and it looks like worse case scenario. So we deal with it and move forward. You have to try.

Depends on what you put down. My $20k loan on my old S2000 in 2001 was $220 a month.

Car was $39,000 out the door back then and I put $19,000 cash down. Financed the rest and it was just a little over $200 a month.

Just to clarify, her name is Fallon Hawk...

She was always nice to me. Not sure what her connection to the company was other than she worked in the office and for the past two years she had her little dog with her. She did some modeling and has some nice risky photo shoot stuff you can google. She's also an SSFC ring girl and has a facebook site.

Random, but Fallon Hawk sounds eerily similar to a Fallon Renee from a few years back who was on a ton of forums and drove a Supra. She would hang out at shops and with clubs and then spin stories about how she owned them or was a partner. Everyone pretty much had to ban her and all the shops disavowed her. The other Fallon was from socal and vegas. Maybe not the same person but Fallon isn't a super common name.

I'm sure she made working there interesting.

haha, that was a good day. Without make-up she's not all that hot. But she was nice and that makes up for the bad hair days.

What do you mean? She's wearing make-up in that pic? I thought those were her real eyelashes and just her natural beauty.

With all that money I would have done one crazy awesome twin turbo s62 m5 powered e24 with Alpina cosmetics.

Or bought a cheap e92 325 part out with everything exempt the engine. Buy a m5 or m3 motor, contact my buddy from Ergen mortorsport to flash and rewire the engine to a 325 e92 and turbo it, with money to spare..

First off...alpina cosmetics? ::
Second, the 325 idea is retarded. Sorry, but just buy the M3 if you're gonna throw that motor in anyway. At least that way, the car will handle worth a shit from the start.

I think you just insulted every man and women in the enthusiast world of bmw motor sports that have made bmw what we know of it today. Engine swaps and modifying are a part of the bmw community also. And in bmw, take the X5 V12 LeMans or the 3 series Hartge H50 V10 and the Hartge v8 e46 for example.

You also insulted a part of bmw "Alpina" I strongly feel you dont know bmw and its motorsport history enough to have some respect for it. You are most likely a noob that owns a bmw.

I said Alpina cosmetic parts look disgusting. I stand by that statement 100% Did I say their cars don't perform? I did not.

Also, you mentioned putting an M3 V8 into the same damn body style 325, not an M5 V10 into an M3 chassis or E9x M motor in E46 chassis. Those are fantastic ideas, as long as they don't destroy the balance of the car. Your idea of spending more than an E9x M3 on creating a wanna be M3 was retarded.
