BMW CCA LA Auto-x - EXCITING EVENT

Due to some non-BMW CCA people who apparently couldn't read the event description, we now have 4 spaces open for this event. I just wonder what part of "this is not a HPDE or time trial but a traditional auto-x" they didn't understand...

Man an L.A. autocross selling out (or nearly selling out) 2.5 weeks before the actual event? This is almost unheard of, at least not in the last 3 years or so.

I have to say, you're doing a BANG UP job at this autocross organizer thing. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Get yourself a couple of trusty underlings and get your @ss out on the track too my mang.

I plan to run some laps this time. Because I am timing/scoring and track designer I will not compete for times but the allure of SOW is too much to resist.

The event is now full and has a wait list.

Southpaw - I think most folks are staying at the Motel 6 in Lancaster. There is nothing in Rosamond itself so Lancaster is your best bet.

After scoping around the hotel, i see a Blue and white Viper (trailered in), an immaculate 2002, a couple bikes on trailers, an an Alpine White E92 m3 on HREs.

cant wait for tomorrow.

Nope...he was one of ours! That was a great looking car! Too bad my best time was almost 2 seconds faster than his...in a GTI...
