Quality Tire/Wheel Mounting at BMW (NOT)
Two weeks ago I ended up going to the local BMW Dealer to have my new tires mounted on my Miro M6 Replica Wheels since all the local shops did not want to deal with new wheels. After being raped for $50.00 per I assumed I was getting quality work. Yesterday as I loaded the tires into my car to have them installed I found 3 (yes 3) balancing strips or whatever you call them lying on the floor. So I had to take all 4 wheels back to BMW today for rebalancing. They said the probable cause was that the wheels were aftermarket and that is why the balancing strips fell off. This is a real confident builder for my trust in BMW Service.

Looks like they didn't clean the surface before applying the wheel weights. I dont see a reason why weights wouldn't stick onto a aftermarket wheel. They should really compensate you on that instead of making you pay more...
