So i am talking about this (borrowed a pic from this forum).



Since i dont have any front PDC or heated seats, i was wondering if there is something someone did to this lower empty part of the plastic?

i was thinking like a tray for my cell phone or documents (jut like a "hole"). Or maybe cut it open and put a little TFT screen with 2-4 buttons as gauges display for RaspberryPi or something connected to OBD port (like Awron, but not so many $$$ and more DIY solution). Or maybe a cup holder, since i don't have those in front of the passenger.

Problem is also, i haven't yet stripped down my trim so i don't really know how much space is there behind that blank cover.

Judging by the picture, it looks like there's next to no room behind it.
