15PSI MAX on FBO 335i?

I have FBO 335i JB4 V5, and max boost im only seeing 15psi, on auto tune on 93 octane, and about the same thing on map 2. I have BMS Pump Back end flash. Is this the most i can run without E85? Or a way to up it to 17 on pump/

Thanks in advance.

15 PSI is about where you wanna be on pump gas. you need meth or E85 to push it higher safely.

Consider installing an in-line LPFP (Steve AZ kit), BMS E85 flash, then 50% E85 and Map 5 or even Map 7. You will be shocked with the added power.

Can you send link to the system i need to run this? And also, once i get the fuel upgrade and tune, i have to run 50/50 at all times? or is there a way to run 93 most time, and 50/50 e85 when racing etc..?

Thanks

You won't want to lower the E85 you'll be addicted to your new found power.
Seriously, you should be okay to lower the E85 just use Map 5 instead of Map 7.

Yup, i guess auto tune with some e85 or race gas is gonna be the way to go!.

You can run up to 18 psi without any issue with pump gas 93. if you have any question you can pm me. FBO can run 20psi if your turbo can hold it.

Boost is only part of the equation. If running the stock timing curve 93 octane isn't going to provide enough KR resistance to support 18psi and be happy.

How does the backend flash magically add Anti-Knock properties. If you want to run more boost on 93 timing will suffer. Timing also is more directly correlated to power improvement in a lot of the common seat of the pants locations in the power band. So reducing timing to run more boost will likely cause the customer to be disappointed.

I hit peak boost of 18 psi on both my 93 pump and E45 PTF maps. It's the added timing with the E45 map that makes the difference.

Nah. Florida weather should negatively effect things in the summer. The only thing we have. Going for us is being at sea level.

Yes it does affect your timing with hotter tempt. With hotter ambient tempt, your intercooler will get heat soak faster. Heat will kills your timing.

From what I've read the back end flash adds fuel and timing.?? Correct me if I'm wrong.

You can only add as much timing as the fuel allows. The higher the cylinder pressure the more AKI the fuel needs. 93 can only do so much. You can tune with meth to gain a little more but that requires a really good failsafe. Your best bet is to run E85 or a race fuel blend if you don't have e85.

+1
You need higher octane than 93 to run aggressive timing and boost.
