Took my car to the dealer for the smoking issues a d they found the following (this dealer is cool, they know about all my mods and don't care):

1. Excess condensation due to straight thru exhaust (no cats)
2. Valve is not closing causing condensation to come out of tail pipe (not burning/evaporating off, they recommend letting the exhaust Valve close (no golf tee mod) and it should heat up the exhaust and evpaporate the condensation before it comes out.
3. This is only a diagnosis for cars That smoke steam after sitting, not for cars burning oil, coolant ect. They checked all fluid levels and have not lost a drop, if the car had a bad turbo seal I would have lost a bit of fluid somewhere.

I hope say, it does puss yaoff when you ave a awesome modded car and smoke comes out.....makes you think people are saying "that car is a POS" when in reality it runs great lol!! I am going to try there moving the golf-tee mod and see if that helps. I am also considering replacing my secondary cats.

High flow catalytic converters. It was the only way mine was solved. And it makes your car not smell like sh*t when you're idling.

Which high flow cats did you use?

I had this same issue with white smoke engulfing the car esp at a dead stop/idle. pretty embarasing at a red light. The dealership changed all the injectors, spark plugs, and the oxygen sensors. Problem went away after that!

Here is a vid of my car in the morning...after this it only does it when sitting for 1/2 hour or more. After it sits it will do the exact same thing you are describing.

I get smoke from passenger side hood. Soon as I open the hood smoke goes away somehow so cant figured out at all. It only appears after cold start and local drive for 1 to 3 mins. Also smells like burnt oil. Do not lose any oil or coolant at all. Im going in to dealer for that recall we had and inspection qhile that im trying to ask them whats going on. Im hoping its not my turbo.

Does anybody know if dealer gives head gasket warranty on fbo car? Or do I have to change to stock?

Could be loose exhaust. Something similar happened to me.

yes, mine came pouring out from under the hood...mostly on deceleration right before I came to a stop. can't answer the second part as I didn't fix it myself. but I think you'd see the loose connection between the midpipes and downpipes.

100 percent. This is how it happens- white humidifIED water builds up while idle...you could be at a garage, turning your car on n off in small intervals or like me, I sometimes sit playing around and chatting to my girl for 10-15 mins...no smoke, remember I'm on work leave in a very humid country, then as soon as I reverse white condensation blows out of my full decatted aFe Mach xp Exhast..I drive, step on it and in 2 mins all the water vapor that has collected in my free flow Exhast evaporates and dissapers. Simple as that...if its blue smoke that's oil and you got trouble.

Trust I make sense.

Head Gasget. After100k we all need to change the solenoid. Could also be an Exhast issue or lose Gasget leaking tiny tiny drops of oil onto the Exhast. I have this issue and it happens very rarely, so I will get it fixed when and as needed. Oil is cheap here.

Sure, as I said Exhast...oh and I hate the OCC. It doesn't work with certain tunes....
