Performix VLP: Anyone used this? (Leather/ette repair)

I have a small tear on my driver's side seat and was wondering if anyone has tried VLP? (Same company that makes plastidip)

If so how did it hold up? Does it provide a clean repair? Any issues in hot/cold environments?

Thanks!

Posted in the cosmetic repairs section as well, but that forum doesn't get as much love nowadays.

it looks like that stuff is like a glue and is meant to just hold the rip together. doesn't seem like it'd look very nice for big rips or under scrutiny. based on a YouTube video, it looks like it'll leave a clear blotch where you applied it (so seems like a glue meant for leather)
