Need help deciding on intake!

What's the best intake out there for my 2008 328i?

I was considering this one, http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-11...328i-330i.aspx

I have it and it works great like most intakes it won't gain a whole lot of hp I did feel the pick up was slightly better and car more responsive, it makes a beastly howl sounds sick!

Nice. Yeah, I don't really think it would add as much horsepower as it says, but if it gives a better ride, I'm down for it. Plus it doesn't hurt if it sounds great. Has it improved your mpg?

If anything put a panel filter in there. It's not really worth modding a 328 because you will spend thousands of dollars to pick up about 20HP.

If I were you I would get an exhaust to make it sound nice, then spend my money making it look great

Save your money and keep it stock. Or you can spend your money on hookers and blow.

If you want to improve the sound of your car, you should probably start with your stock exhaust system.
I am not familiar with the available intakes for the n52, but i don't think you need to spend your money on a carbon fiber intake considering the current stock weight of the 328i.

My BMW PI has improved my hwy milage by about 4mpg. Considering how much time i spend on the hwy it'll pay for itself within a couple of years.

Well I'm not crazy over the carbon fiber, they have one with out it for a lot cheaper. I would get that one. I just use that one for a link.

if it improved mpg that much on a 328i, bmw would have made it stock. you're saying that the stock airbox is crazy restrictive if you got 4 more miles on every gallon of gas.
in fact, there would be no need to move down to a 4 cylinder engine on the f32.

noise restrictions, cost restrictions, CARB compliance, etc., might prevent such a thing from being standard equipment.

Why would I lie about that? My highway milage improved from 24 mpg to 27.5 mpg cruising at 80 mph. The whole reason why I got it was to improve my hwy milage because in the 7 and a half months I've had my car I've put on around 13000 miles, mostly highway. I'll be doing that for the next 3 years, so in that time it will have paid for itself.

You don't have to believe me and I'm sure that different people will see different results, but that's the result I saw with it.
