Hey guys, new to the forum but I'm friends with quite a few of the locals that post on here! I just wanted to spread the word about the event happening this weekend in Tampa - Midnight Poker Run Round 2!!

It's open to all cars so bring your non-BMW friends! Costs $20 to pre-register or $25 the night of. There will be a bunch of different prizes and a crew will be filming. Sponsors include NOS, Oakley and ECS to name a few.

Start location is Lutz Performance in Lutz, FL so I'm getting together a caravan down I4 for anyone coming from the East coast. We already have cars coming in from Daytona who will meet us in Orlando and then we will be picking up some more cars in Lakeland.

Remember, it isn't speed that's getting you a prize, it's THE BEST POKER HAND! So come out and lets have fun!!!!!!!

Now, if you're not available that night there are a few other things happening around the car scene if you're interested:

• OAC Cars and Cafe at it's new location from 9am-12pm
• Quaker Steak and Lube, Clearwater car show contest with CA$H prizes from 2pm-8pm
• Saturday Night Drifting at CFRC in Orlando from 7pm-12am

These are always fun...but have to be careful.. Last time we had a helicopter chasing up in the air... but wasnt with LUtz

Always have to be! No matter how big or small the event. I hope people don't think this is the BullRun/AKA Rally/GoldRush/etc. that's why I pointed out winner has best hand, not fastest time.

Leaving Miami today and stopping in Tampa on the way home... Looks tempting, now have to talk the wife into it.

would normally go, but with all of the cars signed up and different groups that have been invited across all car brands, this looks like it will turn into people getting arrested for being out of control. IMO

I definitely see that and agree, wouldn't surprise me if some people end up with tickets or worse tomorrow night, but I don't plan on joining them. I just want to go be with other enthusiasts. Might actually not run and just help out anyway....
