Swapping REAR rfts with snow tires??

Hi everyone, After a horrible experience with my new 189s with stock rfts in the snow I was thinking of swapping the rear tires for snow tires. Its a lease and i dont intend to buy a wheel and tire setup and also I want to keep my 189s all year round

. I searched on tire rack for some tires and found the 225 40 18 would fit a rim up to 9'' so I believe this will fit the rear rims? any other suggestions?? thanks

Winter tires should be used on all corners.

the most i will drive (if its snowing) is around 2-3 miles..I just dont want to loose traction..can 225 40 18 fit the 8.5 rim??
