Don't you have to rev the engine a little bit after the engine warms up!

Afraid that's just a placebo effect there.
It has been thoroughly documented that seafoam doesn't do anything besides smoke..

Glad she's running fine again though!

Valves appear to be less coated with all that carbon junk. I scrubbed it with toothbrush, rifle cleaner, and with a copper/Zinc brush. Maybe all the cleaning cAme from me cleaning with the brushes...but I am happy with the results... Not going to mess with doing it again tho..I consider putting this assembly together as being first timers luck.

Sorry, my bad, I assumed you just ran seafoam through the vacuum line!

Great job on the cleaning then, it should definitely be noticeable now!

wait what? if you cleaned them by hand why was there smoke? I think you did something wrong... I cleaned mine with loads of seafoam and carb cleaner... but i did not get any smoke at all... nor was i expecting to see any, it doesn't make sense why you would get smoke since the seafoam doesnt ever get burned...

oh... i was wondering what would happen, if that happened (guess i finally know). I was real carefull to make sure the valve I was working on was completly shut before pooring any large quantity of seafoam in there.

glad to hear your car is working fine OP, it was also my first DIY (other than oil changes) for this car.
