Do you have a spare $5.5-$6k Shane to throw away for seats? If you are keen Southernbm in Melbourne would be able to get you in a set.

I think you will need to change your timber trim to the brushed aluminium or carbon fibre if you do end up going down this route. What dollars are we talking about Shane?

Im just curious to gain some feedback as to what they are like, but around $4K a set for these rebadged recaro's.

TBH my car atm is a weekender, but eventually will be a daily so they probably wont be suitable especially for the larger folk like myself!

You could not have said it any better Stu. This guy knows his sh*t

Shane, take a look at Recaro Sportsters or Recaro Style. http://www.recaro-automotive.com/au/...ket-seats.html

fwiw i believe these are recaros anyway, but BMW labelled...

A bit showy especially with the seat belt holes when there is no possible way to use them in a stock car. However I did sit in them when the demo car was travelling around Australia a year or two ago. Very nice, but not worth the big $$ especially if your passenger doesn't like the seats.

Nope you keep the airbags, (you can seen them on the passanger side of the picture).. this is also why the seats are so expensive compared to Recaro's or alike)

And I would desperately LOVE a set.. but with a white leather rear seat

Yes they have airbags and heater elements (which can be retrofitted) I believe they are 3-4kg lighter each
