M4 without the flat hood line
A lot of ppl are talking about the huge hood line, so I removed it and added the old school vents.
This is just for fun. Photoshop quality is not that good, I just spent few minutes on this. Last edited by gds52; 08-23-2013 at 12:24 PM.. |

looks great but itll never happen. new crash regulations require more plastic up front. i do however think the m4 needs the hood vents so kudos to that! believe it or not, the intersection of the bumper, fender, and hood creates a break in the line above the headlight. looks odd with the hood line gone.

Good Photochop...That’s exactly what I have in mind when I saw the M4 pics. I love everything they did except the hood, I never like the line across the hood.

Could definitely be done with a boser hood extension, but no one will have the balls to do it. It's a common custom mod in the VW world.

I think in darker colors the hood line will not be that prominent.
But somehow on front top angle the gap seems too big. In my opinion, with no hood line, the headlight stands out. I'm curious to know what discussion would have gone through when BMW selected this hood line design, there must be some good explanation for it. |

I actually don't mind the hood line, but this car would be just about perfect with hood vents. |
