I think I'm going to tackle it anyway. It doesn't look bad on SGM, but it's horrid on a black car.

Btw, does anyone know what is the deal with all the "tarheel" stuff in the local clubs? THSCC, THBMWCCA... Was there a UNC fan that founded these and laughed about "sneaking one by" the State fans or something? I know it's a state term that doesn't directly tie in to UNC, but c'mon. I can't decide how derogatory it is from any standpoint.

I find it generally annoying and think NCSCC has about a million times better ring to it.

Also, if anyone in the Triad wants to have their DRLs turned off... Carr Industries in Greensboro will do it for like $40 or so, they will also pull engine codes for free. The owner Tom seemed really friendly and willing to help us DIYers with info.

Not really... You missed CNC by a week.

What part of the city? North Hills, Brier Creek, Cary?

Just recently relocated to Greensboro from Asheville - been a member here for a while. What's going on here in the area?

Nope, busy the past two weekends with family and getting my CCH. If you were closer I'd say let's do it together.

I still have to install my FBO parts too. Life is a real timesuck sometimes.

I ended up ordering 3M silver carbon vinyl so I can wrap the reflectors when I open them. I have young kids and am off Fridays, so that's the only day I can do it with them in daycare. If I have errands on Friday then the car waits.

New in brier creek

Hey y'all I'm Mike I'm military and now go to law school. I just moved to the area a couple months ago live in brier creek now.

I just scooped up a space grey on red 6MT 08 335i. Looking to throw on JB4, DCI, e85 30%, OCC in the upcoming week or two. Downpipes and charge pipe sometime soon.

I picked up an 07 335i bout a month ago, that amber corner is pretty ugly.. but you have to take the bumper off to take off the headlights? I'm thinkin I'll hold off on it til I grab a bumper(m3 or msport) in the springtime

Yes, you do have to remove the bumper, there is a DIY on here. But that is the easy part and I wouldn't let that stop me or wait for a two-birds-one-stone. Take a look at the DIY and you'll see how easy it is:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=13261574
"It took me less than 15 minutes to remove the bumper (including taking pictures)"

I don't want to scare you guys, but every single post I've read that someone cracked these open says they would not recommend it.

Huh. Thought I knew all the Evo owners around here. One ex-owner traded his for a black E92 M3. Did you ever bring it to Cars N Coffee?
