Autologic updates vs BMW updates - Are they the same?
Well are they?
How can they be the same updates if they're coming from 2 different people? Unless Autologic buys the updates from BMW? I don't see why BMW would want to sell their updates to AL either...confusing. I want to update my transmission but I'm not sure which one to go for?!? |

Lol. You can never be sure...as my car has the real authentic imitation leather option.

I paid for a full update on my car, I was told with autologic you have to update the DME aswell as the EGS. My main aim was the EGS being updated.
Anyway, absolute zero difference in anything, get home and I plugged my stuff in and notice that the DME has been updated as it's a different number from the factory however the EGS is the same?! AS you can see the DME has been definetly updated but the number for the EGS is the same. INPA confirms the same number and so does DIS. DIS says the DME has been updated today but it doesn't say anything for EGS, just says the software number below. Top pic is egs. |
