My favourite bit is that at the start of the vid you can clearly see the full reg no. because the plate is on the dashboard (presumably so it doesn't ruin the car's "looks")

All modern car paints are water-based these days and hence they're easy to chip. Cellulose and acrylic paints were banned through environmental concerns.
